| 米国の法律の下では、自ら立証しない限り、すべての訪問者ビザ申請者は移民する目的で米国に入国すると推測される。したがって、ビザ申請人は立証してこの推定を覆さなければならない: a) 渡米目的は、ビジネス・観光目的の一時的な訪問であること b) ある限られた期間のみ米国に滞在する計画であること; c) 米国滞在中の費用を賄う資金の証拠があること d) ビザ申請者は米国外に放棄する意図のない住居を所有すること;（すなわち、ビザ申請人は母国に経済関係、仕事、又は家族との強い結びつきがあるため、訪問終了後には米国を確実に発つことを示す証拠を提出しなければならない。） | Under U.S. law it is presumed that every visitor visa applicant is an intending immigrant until he/she demonstrates otherwise. Therefore, applicants must overcome this presumption by demonstrating: a) that the purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. temporarily for business or pleasure; b) that they plan to remain for a specific, limited period; c) evidence of funds to cover expenses while in the U.S. d) that they have a residence outside the U.S. which the visa applicant has no intent of abandoning as well as other binding ties i.e. financial, employment and/or strong family ties) that will ensure their departure from the U.S. at the end of the visit. |

| 1) 申請人がオンラインで記入・署名した非移民ビザ申請書 （書式DS-160）; 2) 米国滞在予定期間に加えて6か月以上残存有効期間があるパスポート 3) 下記を証明する証拠書類: a. 滞在終了後、米国を離れる意図があること i） 往復航空券; ii）現在の雇用主が発行したビザ申請者の職位、給料及び休暇許可についての証明書; b. 全ての滞在費用を賄う資力 i） 所得税申告書の謄本又は所得源泉徴収税の謄本（3ヶ月); ii）銀行その他の金融機関が発行した収入または貯蓄証明書 c. 医療を受ける目的で渡米する場合: i）病気の詳細、アメリカで治療が必要な理由を説明した、母国の医師の診断書; ii）申請者が特定の病気を治療する意思があること、治療予定期間、治療予定費（診察料、入院費、その他すべての医療関連費を含む）について記した米国の医師又は医療機関からの手紙; iii）ビザ申請者のアメリカでの渡航費・医療費・滞在費が支払われることを示す証拠書類 [参照: 3b (i), (ii) ] | 1) Nonimmigrant Visa Application (Form DS-160) completed and signed by the applicant online; 2) Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned period of stay in the U.S.; 3) Documents to show: a. intent to leave the U.S. after the trip i) round trip air ticket; ii) Certificate of current employment stating the visa applicant’s position and salary and entitlement to and approval of vacation leave. b. ability to finance all costs of the trip i) Certified copies of income tax returns or three (3) months proof of income withholding tax payment; ii) Bank or other statements of income or savings. c. if reason for travel to the U.S. is for medical treatment: i) Certificate of medical diagnosis from a local physician, explaining the nature of the ailment and the reason treatment is needed in the U.S.; ii) Letter from a physician or medical facility in the U.S., stating that they are willing to treat the applicant’s specific ailment and indicating the projected length and cost of treatment including doctor’s fees, hospitalization fees, and all medical-related expenses; iii) Proof that visa applicant’s transportation, medical and living expenses in the U.S. will be paid [See 3b (i) and (ii).] |

| シングルエントリーの場合、訪問者はビザ有効期間中、1回のみ米国に入国することができる。米国に再入国するには別のビザを取得する必要がある。 複数エントリーの場合、訪問者はビザ有効期間中、複数回米国に入国できる。従って、外国人は、滞在が認められた期間内に米国を離れることを条件として、1年を超えない期間の滞在と出国を繰り返すことができる。 | In case of single entry, the visitor can enter the U.S. only once for the duration of the visa. One must obtain another visa to re-enter the U.S. In case of multiple entry, the visitor can enter the U.S. multiple times during the term of the visa. Thus, a foreign citizen can go back and forth even within one year, provided that the person leaves the U.S. within the period of stay granted. |
