| 1) 文化交流プログラムを主催する雇用者が、申請人のスポンサーとなること。 2) Q非移民ビザの目的は国際文化の普及であるため、申請人の業務の重要部分は文化的な内容でなければならない。 申請人は18歳以上でなければならず、自国の文化的な特徴を効果的に伝えられること。 | To obtain a Q visa, the applicant must be sponsored by an employer who administers cultural exchange programs. Since the purpose of the Q non-immigrant visa is to facilitate the sharing of international cultures, an integral part of the applicant’s duties must have a cultural element. The applicant must be at least 18 years old and be able to communicate effectively about the cultural attributes of his country. |

| 加えて雇用者は、雇用主が確立された国際文化交流プログラムを維持している証拠を提出しなければならない。これは、プログラムの文化的な内容が、参加者の母国の姿勢、習慣、歴史、遺産、哲学、伝統及び/或はその他文化的特徴の概要を伝えるものとなっていることを示す、カタログ、パンフレット又はその他種類の資料のコピーを提出することで証明される。 また、雇用者は、プログラム活動が米国の大衆又はその一部との直接の交流を通じて文化を普及することができる公共の場所で行われていることを示す証拠を提出できる。 さらに、雇用者は以下を立証しなければならない: 1 適格性がある従業員を、プログラムを管理しUSCISとの連絡役を務める者として指定したこと; 2雇用者が、外国人の給料と労働条件を、米国内で同様に働く就労者と同等の内容とすること 3 雇用主が参加者に報酬を与える財力があること。雇用者の最新年次報告、事業所得税申告書、あるいはその他の書式の認定会計士のレポートのコピーにより立証する。 | In addition, the employer must submit evidence that the employer main-tains an established international cultural exchange program. This may be demonstrated by submitting copies of catalogs, brochures or other types of material which illustrate that the cultural component of the pro-gram is designed to give an overview of the attitude, customs, history, heritage, philosophy, tradition and/or other cultural attributes of the partic-ipant's home country. The employer may also submit evidence which illustrates that the pro-gram activities take place in a public setting where the sharing of culture can be achieved through direct interaction with the American public or a segment thereof. Further, the employer must establish that: 1 It has designated a qualified employee to administer the program and serve as liaison with USCIS. 2 It will offer the alien wages and working conditions comparable to those accorded local workers similarly employed 3 It has the financial ability to compensate the participant(s), as shown by a copy of the employer's most recent annual report, business income tax return or other form of certified accountant's report. |

| Q 非移民ビザには、Q-1非移民者に、配偶者又は子供が同行又は追行することについて定めた規定がない。 よって、配偶者や子供は、取得が認められる可能性のあるビザカテゴリーに申請しなければならない。 | The Q nonimmigrant visa does not have a provision for any spouse or children to accompany or follow to join a Q-1 nonimmigrant. Therefore, any spouse or children must qualify for a visa classification for which they may be eligible. |

He or she must spend 1 year outside the United States before he can apply to participate in the Q cultural exchange program again. |
